Beach rocks, Carlsbad, California

Somewhere between reality and imagination, my eye sees something appealing.  Whatever it was, it compelled me to take a picture of these rocks, more than a decade ago, but the unedited picture looked very bland, no unusual pattern, texture or color, just unremarkable rocks worn by the tides.  Experimenting with Photoshop, I evoked the colors and textures here and found the something that appealed to me, a random selection of beach amplified and transformed by digital tools.
